Hey lovelies! Happy new month, hope April has been good to you thus far? You know we are getting old right? The April fool pranks don’t come again… That realization is just so saddening but well, in the light of what life is or what it has become, this comes from that serious place where I realise that it’s not a joke or a prank;its life and it’s our own.
Consistency doesn’t only mean working at it the hardest, but it sure means keeping at it the longest. Do not get me wrong,it’s essential to work hard but then I realise that goals are not sprints;they are more like marathons so we should work putting it in mind that we
would need the energy for a very long time. Be consistent with your energy level.
Consistency also doesn’t require us to work on so many things haphazardly,it requires us to identify the most important tasks and devote our energy and resources to them at least till we can see them through.
Be consistent with your goals.
The beautiful thing about sticking to a path is that along that part you find the right network of people and resources who are headed your way, those who know the way more than you do and can guide you, and those are waiting on you to check if the route is plyable. It’s just like the Differential Association Theory or at least something like it (I guess that would apply if your goal is to commit a crime lol) ok let me find something more suitable errrm… Like the law of attraction; you attract the kind of network that is in line with your consistent goals. Have you ever wondered why your Instagram feed is filled with the kind of images you like to see? If you post about fashion and use hash tags you get likes and follows from other fashion pages,if you post about food the same happens and so on. Let’s just say life is like Instagram… Find your goal, post it and use the hash tags and then you would find people and resources who are headed your way, stay in that network and make it count.
At the end of the day consistency always finds a way.
Images are of my friends Kingsley Brian and I, when you put us separately you would hardly find anything in common but you just allow us to come together and then you would see how we start to talk about all sorts of things like fashion, what this person is wearing, music and many other things that can put us in trouble.
This is the first time I styled an African print pant to a corporate look and now I have so many of these fine prints and I can’t wait to style them for you to see. Socks are allowed as well as lace up shoes if you like because it is not a native attire; just an African print in a corporate look, just my thoughts anyways.
Have you any thoughts on consistency? Would you like to share? Please leave your comments thanks.
